Tagaytay, Philippines

It's one of the famous get away area from the busy life of Metro Manila. When I went to tagaytay, it was 2nd week of December 2010. The after I applied for my UK visa, my brother Gabriel sneek to Tagaytay to look for a property on sale for his real estate business. It was almost 3 hours motor ride from the tip of Bulacan (Tungko) to Tagaytay highlands.

The area was beautiful, you can see the majestic taal lake. The wind was so fresh and cool. We spent lunch time at the Tagaytay market, well its a beautiful and clean market. These photographs were I hope was taken by an slr canon camera, but are not. I havent have my travellers notebook back then.

Mantigue Island, Camiguin, Philippines

I travelled to Mantigue Island on September 2009. The weather condition was so fine, you can feel the warmth of the sun. Around 8 am in the morning we rented a small "banka" or boat to go to the island, the rent then was 500 pesos for 6 people. The person owning the banka will wait for you until you all return to the mainland of Camiguin.

As we approach the island, you can see the very white sand, that enveloped the area. It was sooo white. It was surrounded by a gleaming white beach of powdery coral sand. I hope I had then my expensive slr canon camera.

Going into these island is not on our plan, but stories of its beauty has made us wondered and explored the island. It was all worth it.

St. Brelade's Parish, St. Brelade, Jersey, UK

It was cold saturday afternoon, when Bob took us to the oldest church in Jersey. It just took us about 15 minutes travel from Greve de Lecq Barracks, St. Mary to St. Brelade, Jersey. It was built in the 11th century. The church was so magnifient, that it reveals the strong engineering design of that time. It was strategically placed that it can withstand the test of time.

These shows the list of the priest that has governed the church. Which dates back as far as the 12th century. It used to be a Roman catholic church, but now it is by angelican church.

On its back is the St. Brelades Bay.
On front of it is the Oak tree of 350 years old. The two Oak tree is believed to be planted together at the same time.
On its corner is the farmers chapel with the medieval paintings.

Greve de Lecq Barracks, St. Mary, Jersey

It was Saturday morning, February 26, 2012. We are scheduled to go out with Bob- a member of the Commonwealth royal society of Jersey & a very close friend of DESMAN. The scheduled time is 9:40am but the weather is very foggy, its 200 meters visibility. So we moved our schedule to 11:00 am. Luckily, the weather gets better and the fogs is not that thick anymore. We went to many places, then at lunch the Bob treat us in Collen's restaurant at Greve de Lecq Barracks at St. Mary.

This is the view heading towards the Greve de Lecq Barracks.

I choose these very delicious Gamon steak with egg served with chips and salads at 8.45 pounds. Its really expensive, anyway its Bobs treat. This actually ham with egg on top.

And this Bob, 92 years old but very strong and drive us around the island of Jersey. He used to be a history teacher, so when you talk to him you got a load of history. Then I ask him "What is the secret of long life? he answered that every time he receives the Jersey post, he looks at the list of persons who died and if he cant find his name on it, he still got another 24 hours to live. My second question was "What lesson you want to leave to the new generations? He answered a lesson for all generations should live, that is a concern for other people. You must treat other people as how you want to be treated. And then I said thank you Bob.

Jersey, United Kingdom

I arrive in Jersey, Channel Islands, United Kingdom on February 4, 2012 at Jersey Airport with my travelers notebook. The weather is very cold, its on 2-4 celsius. Its my first time to be out of my country. The woman who fetch me at the airport is Siam.. she was so kind and warm and help me feel very at home. I was then housed at Les Noyers, the accommodation center for visitors of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust is being housed. Josh the Hostel Manager accommodated me, and show me my warm room. After a few refreshments, Josh served a delicious meal. Enough to take my hunger away, and ready for a long sleep. And sleep indeed
